Benzotriazole composite corrosion inhibitor - contg. aq. soluble amine and non-alcohol organic solvent

A benzotriazole, an aq.-soluble amine, and a non-alcoholic aq.-soluble organic solvent are mixed at a mole ratio of benzotriazole to amine 1 : 9 to 9 : 1, pref. 1 : 2 to 2 : 1 and the organic solvent is at 10 - 95 wt. %, w.r.t. total. Highly concd. solns. with conventional corrosion inhibitors for ferrous metals, scale inhibitors and of copper are possible without heating.
