The device, which allows the user to visualise parts of the body which cannot normally be visualised, consists of a small box or a case with a hinged lid (11) and has at least two mirrors (12, 20). The first mirror is attached to a bar (17) which can be inserted or fastened with screws and which in turn is secured on the end of a flexible pivoting arm (15), which is arranged on the base (10) of the case by a ball joint (14). By means of the arrangement of the mirror-supporting bar (17), the first mirror (20), which is illuminated from a lamp (21) screwed onto the end of the pivoting arm (15), can adopt an inclination of approximately 10 DEG relative to the bar (17).
