The method involves displaying a user interface (300) on a touch screen of a touch screen hand-held device. The user interface is shown with a computer-aided design (CAD) model (311) of the mechanical assembly. The model of the mechanical assembly follows a real motion in the mechanical assembly. The CAD model is generated from CAD data, which is transmitted from an element of an electro-mechanical drive system to the touch screen hand-held device. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a touch screen hand-held device provided in communication with control unit of an electro-mechanical drive system; (2) an arrangement for an electro-mechanical drive system; and (3) a computer program for a machine-readable storage medium.
