Safety linkage for tipping skip - has jointed struts to retract centre of mass during tipping

The safety mounting is for a rearwards tipping skip. The skip has a set of pivots at the top rear edge. It has support struts between the pivots and the bottom front of the vehicle, with the struts in two sections. As the skip is raised the reaction on the pivots pulls the struts inwards to fold and hold the centre of gravity of the skip in front of the pivots. The hinged mounting of the struts provides a simple safety feature with no adjustments required by the operator.
