Cable system for HV three-phase current - consists of insulated main conductors esp. cables with metal sheaths

The cable arrangement for HV three-phase current uses three phases which are not arranged in an equilateral triangle. An additional conductor (6) is provided near the cable (3') of the lagging phase (T). It is such, and so arranged, tha losses in the cable (1', 2', 3') sheaths (1-3) are matched to their thermal capacity, and are as small as possible. The main conductors of the cable achieved the same temperature, as one another, as do also the outer coatings of the sheaths. An impedance is connected between the cable conductors and the additional conductor.
