Mine gallery anchor bolt measuring rod - is sleeve adhesively attached to embedded bolt, with scale and coloured rings

The measuring rod embedded in cement inside a hole drilled in the rock face of e.g. a mine gallery, has a tube (9) with a hook (93) attached. This can be secured by a quick setting adhesive, onto the end of the rod (1) embedded in the hole, inside a sleeve (40) around the rod. The tube is marked with a numerical scale (91) and carries a set of coloured rings (92a to h) around it. The hook can be secured by welding, brazing or adhesive to the tube. The tube is coated with a lacquer film by dipping, spraying or painting.
