The pneumatic suspension for the train has a adjustable dampers at the four corners of the carriage linked to a main control line. Three level detectors are spaced about the suspension so that correction is made for pitch, yaw and roll as well as height adjustment for different loadings. Two detectors are mounted on the same transverse axis at one end of the vehicle, one each side of the vehicle, while the third detector is mounted near the other end of the vehicle in the centre.
