Plastics double casement window frame - made by welding together simultaneously cut pvc profiles, with positioning profiles temporarily fitted into longitudinal grooves

Double casement window comprises two frames, one behind the other and made by simultaneous cutting and/or welding together of unplasticised-PVC hollow profiles. Opposite surfaces of profiles of both frames have longitudinal grooves in which a connecting and positioning profile is arranged during assembly. When mfr. is by welding then this connecting profile can be longitudinally displaced and is shorter than the frame profile by at least twice the width of the weld bead formed. After assembly, sealing profiles are fitted to the grooves. The connecting profile (which is subsequently removed) is composed of one piece or several sections.
