The agricultural spraying device for discharging a herbicide under the leaves of a crop has a bar (1) mounted on a suspension frame, carrying a horizontal arm (2) with the spraying head (5) mounted at the end. A horizontal arm (3) for bending and breaking the weeds underneath is mounted at right angles to the first arm (2), below it, on another vertical arm (8). At the end of the horizontal arm (2) is a vertical member (4) with a leaf lifter (6) attached to each end. This protects the leaves of the crop from the spraying nozzles below. the weed bending arm can be of a shallow V-shape, the angle between the arms being about 160 deg. Alternatively the arm can carry teeth, and can be in two parts, connected so as to permit length adjustment.
