The teaching system has receivers (2) designed so that they can be adapted to different types of hearing disorder. The matching adjuster (1) operates with signals of given frequency and amplitude. the amplitude is determined at the output (9) of the equipment. This gives a unique measure of the relationship between changes in the matching adjuster and the output signals. The transfer characteristics of each receiver can be monitored, and characteristics can be displayed visually on a CRT screen (4).
