One half (3) of the coupling, in the form of a ratchet part, is firmly connected to a hub (1) and spring-loaded in the direction of the other half (2) of the coupling, in the form of a thrust flange, which is rotatable relative to the hub. With such a coupling, a driven element is loaded only up to a fixed limiting torque and, after release of the safety detent coupling, reengagement of the two separated parts in the same relative angular position can be achieved.
