Adhesive contg. tackifying resin, rubber and solvent - for firmly bonding metal-rubber bearings in car wheel suspensions

Adhesive is used for bonding metal-rubber bearings held under torsional stress in the carrier sockets of transverse steering rods of wheel suspensions in motor vehicles. Rubber comprises 10-40% w.r.t. adhesive, the resin comprises 10-80% w.r.t. rubber and the solvent comprises 40-80% w.r.t. solids fraction. Pref. the ratio of solvent : rubber : resin is 3:2:1. Adhesive hold is fast to rotation. Bearings may be removed cleanly from the carrier sockets when required.
