The toe tendon stretching instrument is particularly for the treatment of hammer toes. It comprises a holder (1) fitting round the toe (4), and at the forwared end of a strip (2), stretching the toe into extended position. A securing band (3), fitting round the foot, is secured to the strip rear end. The strip can be concave, when seen in the longitudinal direction, a cushion (5) being fitted to its underside. It can be of elastic material, and the holder can be in the form of a ring open on one side.
