The cylindrical boat is designed to give maximum security to the passengers and cargo, by protection against bad weather. It comprises a cylindrical hull, inside which there is a platform (8) resting on and movable in relation to it, so that it always remains horizontal. The horizontal position can be maintained by gravity, the platform being secured to the hull via gears (4) meshing with large internally toothed rings (2) fixed to the hull (1).
