Baby's cradle with rocking movement - uses variable speed electric motor in cradle support to produce desired motion

The device gives a rocking movement to a baby's cradle using a variable speed electric motor which can be adjusted to produce a motion representative of the cardiac rhythm of the mother. The feet of the cradle are two T-shaped pieces joined at each end by a horizontal beam. The cradle is suspended on vertical bars which can rotate on axles which also join them to the upright part of the feet. The beam is hollow and contains the motor whose rotational movement is translated into a rocking movement by a flexible strap joining the motor shaft to the cradle.
