Automatic PCB loading and unloading into processing equipment - which fixes vertically on continuous belt controlled by sensors

Automatic loading and unloading of PCB's into a storage facility is normally in between processing stages. The boards are held separately avoiding any tendency for them to adhere to each other. Printed circuit boards are held individually by one edge vertically within a slotted (30) rectangular block (5) which is carried on square cross-section rails (4) which are part of a continuous belt (26). The belt is driven by reduction gearing (12) etc. and controlled from a small console all being built into a demountable free-standing frame. The belt drive is reversible for loading and unloading operations the actual movement of the belt being controlled by sensors (6) signalling presence and extraction of each PGB. The sensor arrangement prevents the belt advancing until the end PCB has been removed.
