Control circuitry, for a cine camera, esp. sound type, uses programmable microcomputer to control the various pieces of appts. for the different camera functions, such as recording amplifiers, sound motor, automatic exposure control, and film drive motor, according to the user requirements for sound or silent shots and with selected film speed, fade, lap dissolve etc. The microcomputer can be formed on a single chip. A microphone's magnet is connected to a first terminal of the microcomputer via an amplifier. An audio amplifier is connected to a second terminal for recording on the sound track.
