TREATMENT OF WASTE LIQUOR OF DESULFURIZATION IN WET DESULFURIZATION PROCESS OF COKE OVEN GAS

PURPOSE:To treat a waste liquor of disulfurization readily without blending a sulfur cake with a waste liquor of rhodan again, by taking out partly and continuously an absorbing recycled solution in a wet desulfurization process, separating it, returning an absorbing solution with a low free sulfur content to the recycling system, and transporting a waste liquor with a high free sulfur content to a combustion device. CONSTITUTION:An absorbing recycled solution which has absorbed the coke oven gas 2 in the absorbing column 1 of a wet desulfirization process is partly and continuously taken out by using the pump 8, and fed to the top of the recovering column 4, where the solution is brought into contact with the air 5 which is blown from the bottom of the recovering column 4, and the solution is oxidized and recovered. The solution is then separated by the centrifugal separator 7 or settler into a waste liquor of rhodan with a free sulfur content 40-150g/l and an absorbing soution with a free sulfur content not more than 20g/l. The absorbing solution is taken out to the tank 12 and returned by the pump 18 to the absorbing system recycling the solution through the absorbing column 1, while the waste liquor of rhodan is discharged to the tank 9 with the agitator 8, transported to the combustion and treatment device of waste liquor by the pump 10 where it is burned and treated.
