NEW MATERIAL:A nonradioactive carrier formed by condensing 3-oxobutyralbis (N-methylthiosemicarbazone)carboxylic acid of the formula with human serum albumin and the titled diagnostic agent wherein the carrier is combined with technetium-99m. USE:Useful as radiological applications for the purpose of extraction, dynamic test and quantitative determination of the blood circulation system. Stable for a sufficient period after the preparation compared with the agent wherein the human serum albumin is directly labeled with the technetium-99m. A very high labeling ratio of the technetium-99m and a high concentration in blood for a long time after intravascular administration. Smaller radiation dose (exposure of the subject than the agent labeled with lodine-131. PROCESS:The nonradioactive carrier is brought into contact with an aqueous solution containing technetium-99m in the form of a pertechnate in the presence of a stannous salt to give the titled diagnostic agent.
