PHD 77-0369-3-1978ABSTRACTA method for the layer-wide decoding of primarysuperposition images, in which three-dimensional objects,for example parts of the human body, have been recorded incoded form by means of a plurality of radiation sources fromdifferent perspectives, in accordance with which method thevirtual layer images which are formed are observed througha decoding multiplication element in which the coordinatepoints of the radiation sources used for forming the imageare stored and with the aid of which the illuminated super-position images are multiplied as luminous-image repro-ductions in such a way that-one layer of the three-dimen-sional object is visualized, and that further layers arereproduced by varying the size of the superposition imageor by changing the distance between the superposition imageand the multiplication element and each time those imagepoints of an object plane are decoded from the super-position image, which correspond to the coordinate pointsstored in the multiplication element.-14-
