In the hydraulically controlled variable distribution for internal-combustion engines with distribution by hydraulic valves and pushers, the hydraulic pusher (3, 4, 5, 6) of each intake valve has a radial oil escape duct (15, 14), on which is interposed a distributor member (10), the functioning of which is governed by that of the engine by a phase-shift means, making it possible, during operation, to vary the setting of the distributor member (10) in relation to the engine, in order, by the sudden possibility of a discharge of the oil contained in the bore (5) of the pusher, to ensure an adjustable advance upon the closing of the corresponding intake valve.
