An arrangement for limiting temperature-related frequency fluctuations of a crystal oscillator according to Patent Application P 1810274.4-35 is proposed in which a heating device for a crystal is provided which is regulated by a regulating circuit in such a manner that it keeps the ambient temperature of the crystal approximately constant at a temperature which is at the bottom edge of a flat curve of the frequency/temperature characteristic of the crystal.
