The coin-measuring appts. has a channel-shaped chute connected to a centrifugal disc, over which is mounted a driven endless belt. The lower run abuts coins in the chute, pushing them along a lateral guide rail over a bottom opening, through which coins of given size fall and reach a rotary counting wheel of a mechanical counter. Along the chute (6) are arranged several counting wheels (14,15), with a lower aperture (25) in between. Inside the chutes is mounted a spring (24), opposite the first counting wheel (14). The spring presses the coins in the direction of the guide rail (11) and against the counter wheel. The drive of the endless belt (26,27) is connected in operation with the drive of the centrifugal disc.
