Electrical safety unit for a tubular fuse for artillery rounds or explosives has a tube with mutually insulated conductive parts and in opposed branches of an ignition circuit, between whose inner ends are igniters for the fuse. Removable safety units can bring the circuit branches into electrical contact. Pref. the units are formed by masses and bodies in a stable position in connection with the two branches and held there elastically and frictionally, and can be removed from this position by a preset inertial effect to interrupt the contact, in the direction toward the electrical apparatus. Complete electrical security is ensured during transport of the grenades.
