Composite frame for double glazing existing windows - has holes and edge grooves for screws inserted from rebate side

The unit is suitable esp. for subsequent improvement of windows in old buildings, has a wooden frame mounted to swivel on a blind frame and abutting on this with a rebate, together with a screwed metal or plastic frame to accommodate insulation glazing. The wooden frame (6) has holes (63) aligned parallel to the frame plane, passing transversely through the frame shanks. The metal or plastic frame has a peripheral groove (43), open towards the holes, with flanks parallel to the frame plane. Fixing screws (61) are turned into the holes from the rebate side, with their open ends (64) engaging the groove. This means that screws are invisible from either side, and no puttying is needed on the outside.
