Warp-knitting machine guide bars - is spring-loaded in shogging direction with cables round superimposed eccentric guide pulleys

In a towing layout for the guide bars of a warp knitting machine, to move them in the shogging direction, a cable guide roller has a section which is concentric and a section which is eccentric to its axis of rotation. The part of the cable going to the guide bar runs off and back on to the concentric section, whilst the part extending towards the anchorage runs off and on the eccentric section of the guide roller. For pref. the guide roller is formed by two pulleys one upon the other, and the end of the tow cable is adjustable under spring-loading. The system maintains constant tension on the guide bars, whilst at the same time reduces the space necessary for the mechanism.
