Intermediate guide-bar supports for jacquard warp-knitting machine - having shogging motion synchronous with guide bar movements

In a warp-knitting machine with a jacquard mechanism, the guide bars have intermediate supports which are attached to a movable bar which executes a shogging motion synchronously with the guide bars. Supports may be in the form of cranked pins, of which each leg supports one guide bar, or the pins may be inclined w.r.t. the guide bars. Construction eliminates undesirable deflections of the pattern threads in the vicinity of the supports, and avoids the pattern restrictions that this usually entails. It is partic. useful with patterns of small repeat, such as for tapes and lace patterns.
