The omnibus is intended for transporting aircraft or ships passengers. It comprises two passenger decks (1,2) of which the upper deck (1) is at least partly swivelable in vertical direction about a horizontal transverse axis and can be held in any intermediate position. The two decks communicate with each other and are both accessible from outside. The vertical movement may be controlled by a lifting mechanism. The assembly of two decks may be movable by a separate towing vehicle which may be usable for other transport purposes.
