摘要

The primary objectives of the study are to evaluate the performance of thinprecast prestressed concrete panels with broom finish surface and to determine if horizontal shear friction reinforcement is needed to ensure adequate composite behavior between the panel and the CIP portion of the bridge deck. The issues of potential separation of the precast prestressed panel from the cast-in-place portion of the deck, as well as the adequate development of positive moment and shear capacities of the composite bridge section are examined experimentally.
