Production method for elastomeric conveyor belts - in which belts are reinforced by wire or cable inserted into elastomer cover under tension

The conveyor belts are made from elastomeric material with bedded in reinforcements in the form of wires, cables or ropes which extend in a longitudinal direction parallel to each other and run in different sections of the belt's cross section at varying distances from each other according to the parent patent. An elastomer cover plate material is applied to the reinforcement supports guided parallel to each other and subject to a stretching tension. Subsequently the belt formed is vulcanised with the reinforcement supports limiting the larger intermediate spaces guided at a distance from each other which exceeds the intended final measurements for the finished belt.
