Data collection system for coke oven battery - having monitor on power to furnace pusher together with limit switches given information to data logger

Operational data from coke oven batteries is for batteries where several ovens are operated by one coke expressing machine. This has an electrical supply and the pusher can be moved to any of the chambers. The condition of the oven is monitored by the electrical supply to the pusher. The position of the pusher is monitored by limit switches. When operating, the power supply to the pusher is monitored and the max. value compared to a set value via a peak value amplifier. This is then fed to a counter in the form of pulses which are summed. The result is fed to a data logger/printer. This also prints the total electrical work and the oven involved. The system is for use on coke oven batteries. It allows the performance of the plant to be monitored together with providing a record of the status of each oven and the loading on each.
