The selectively absorbent solar collector for a greenhouse, consists of a housing with guide channels for a heat conveying liquid. The housing is made from a transparent slab (1,2,3) with channels. The bottom section is coated with a film, which is transparent in the lower range of the chlorophyl absorption spectrum and absorbent to all other radiation. The slab with channels is made from a double acrylic glass plate with webbing. The coating (4) on the inner walls of the channels extends over the bottom and part of the two vertical side walls. The heat conveying liquid is water.
