Plant pot external cleaning system - lowers vertically into cleaning zone and turns by water jet

The system cleans the outside of the sides of plant pots containing earth and plants, the pot being lowered upright into a cleaning zone and secured so that it cannot slide in the radial direction. Water under pressure is sprayed against the outside of the pot, causing it to turn about its axis so that the entire surface is washed. The spray is then shut off and the pot is lifted at least part- way out of the cleaning zone. It can be lowered, with the plant in it, into the cleaning zone, as far as its uppermost edge. A water pressure of 40 to 250, and preferably between 75 and 150 bar, can be used.
