Filled tubular support mounted double floor - has bearing surfaces levelled by pressing support blocks into filler

Bearing elements are formed by filling pieces of tube with a readily compactible, pref. fluid, hard-setting substance, on site. Bearing surfaces for the top floor are formed on prefab support blocks pressed into the still soft filler just for enough to leave part protruding at the top, to build up a double floor . Here, level adjustment of the bearing surfaces is effected by appropriately staged pressing of the support blocks (7) into the filler (6). Support blocks are pref. widened in the part protruding from the tube (2), and may have downward-open recesses for penetration by the filler.
