The trailer comprises a flat platform (2) which is fitted with wheels (4). Its upper surface forms a support for a body (6) which contains the heads of maize. This container is separate and is supported by a vertical arm (8) each end. Underneath the container are hydraulic rams (20) fitted to trunnions (11) on each of the lower parts of the body supports. These rams raise the lower part (24) of the container body, pivoting it (7) about the upper end of each body support. The contents are then tipped directly into the top of the silo (25).
