Anti skid band for vehicle tyre - has plates with protrusions hooked together across tyre to wheel rim

The anti skid band is mounted across the tyre and made up of a contact plate (1) to cover the tyre width. On its upper face are anti skid protrusions (2) and underneath protrusions to lock it. The ends are sloped edges (3) and a joining segment (6) covering the inner tyre wall. This ends in a hook (7) holding a wheel rim edge and, on the outside, a fitting segment (10) with notches working with a tensioning and locking element (12). This presses on the other wheel rim edge. The segments go in notches (11).
