SELF-TIMER STARTING DEVICE OF CAMERA EQUIPPED WITH ELECTRONIC SELF-TIMER

PURPOSE:To put a self-time in operation only when it is required, by pushing a self- timer starting member for photography using the self-time. CONSTITUTION:For photography using a self-time, when a self-time starting button 5 is pushed down, the skirt part 10 of a self-timer starting member 2 made of nonconductive rubber coupled with the lower part of the button 5 is inflected and a contact piece 9 made of conductive rubber, etc., at its internal buttom part connects with self-timer patterns 11a and 11b on a wiring substrate 8 to form a short circuit, thereby starting the self timer with the resulting self-timer starting signal. The self- timer starting button 5, when released, raises by the elasticity of the member 2 and the contact piece 9 separates from the patterns 11a and 11b to cut off the short circuit, so that the photographing operation using the self-timer never continues.
