An extension arm with turning and sliding connection to a casement shank, remote from the tilt axis, engages the casement for the initial rotary position. It is displaceably mounted on a lug of a pivotal fitting on the case. At its end nearest to the axis of rotation, the arm (24) is adjustable and fastenable in relation to the arm pivot lug (48), vertically to the plane, parallel to the axis of rotation, defined by the arm longitudinal axis (88). The arm may be set against a plate (60), swivelling on the pivot lug about an axis offset parallel to this longitudinal axis. The casement corner near the bearing can be adjusted in relation to the window case corner.
