Ink-washing equipment off printing-press rollers - has nozzles directing fluid from pump at uppermost inking rollers

The equipment washes the printing ink off the rollers of a flat offset printing press, having spray nozzles at the level of the uppermost rollers (2,3) of the inking mechanism, aimed at them and mounted at intervals along them. Washing fluid is delivered to the nozzles from a storage tank by a pump. The nozzles can be mounted on a pipe (11) parallel to the axes of the rollers, and on which there are a series of nozzle heads (12). The nozzles can be aimed at the gaps (14,15) between the upper most pairs of rollers, (2,3;3,5). A timer can be provided, periodically interrupting the flow of washing fluid to the nozzles during the washing oepration.
