Drag chain with carrier for circular drag conveyor - has extension on carrier to cover ratchet on trolley

The drag chain (8) is used to move loaded trolleys along rails. Each carrier on the chain engages between two ratchets on a trolley. The carrier (9) has a front extension (10) to cover a ratchet (11) in order to ensure covering of the distance between ratchets. The extension may be integral with the carrier and be of the same width as the ratchet. The drag chain is for use in a conveyor, in which trolleys are transferred from one chain to a second one and in which the chain guide is lowered in the transfer area.
