Electronic integrator operating without interface - has adjustable integration circuit generating integration and sign pulse

This electronic integrator circuit operates directly in conjunction with a microprocessor without requiring an interface circuit. This is accomplished by integrating the time-variable analogue data during regular time intervals up to a threshold above which an integration pulse and simultaneously a sign pulse, corresp. to the positive or negative sign of the integration level, is generated and the integrator is reset. The resettable integrator (3,4,5) is coupled to a differential amplifier (6) and pulse shaping circuit (8) which determine the integration threshold and generate the integration pulse (Ji). This controls the reset switch (5) of the integrator. Another differential amplifier (9) and pulse shaping circuit (10) generate the sign pulse. Both pulses are synchronised by passing through a NOR-gate (11).
