Domestic energy conservation system - reduces number of radiators, improves insulation for hot and cold water pipes, utilises waste water heat

The suggestions are for domestic dwellings having central heating and hot water supply. It is not necessary, to have a radiator in the room, which is above the basement room containing the central heating boiler, as the heat transmitted is sufficient to heat this room. An increased amount of insulation, or new construction of taps, will prevent heat, and water loss, which occurs due to transmission of heat from the hot to the cold water in the pipes leading to the taps. The heat in the domestic waste water is utilised in a heat exchanger, to pre-heat water going to the boiler.
