The horizontal conveyor pipe is for moving solid particle suspensions. The transverse measurement (1) of the pipe above a mainly flat base (2) is uniformly reduced so that the pipes cross section has no horizontal symmetrical axis. The cross section of the conveyor pipe has the form of an isosceles triangle with rounded off corners. Alternatively a half-round profile with rounded corners can be formed by filling in a portion of a normal round pipe. The pipe can be a hard plastics.
