The invention relates to a process for the electrolytic production of copper foil, in particular for printed circuits. Rapid deactivation of the titanium deposition cylinders can be prevented by adding further organic corrosion inhibiters, such as aromatic and/or aliphatic compounds having one or more nitro groups and/or nitroso groups as well as further substituents which promote solubility. In this way, standstill times of copper foil production installations can be substantially reduced and production can be increased as compared with existing technology.
