The anti-dazzle screen for the internal or external rear-view mirror of a vehicle is attached to a mounting by a jointed arm made up of two parts sliding one within the other. The arm can occupy several positions with a day-time position which does not restrict the driver's visibility and a night-time position in which light reflected by the mirror passes through the screen and into the eyes of the driver. The screen reduces the intensity of the reflected light and the dazzling effect of following headlights.
