The beacon has a body (1) with at least on one of its faces an application of a surface of reflection material (2). The beacon has vertical bores (4) which are engaged on vertical spindles (9) fixed to the anchorage (6,8). The beacon is in the form of a plate having at least two fixings (6-9) distributed along its bottom edge. The vertical borings are blind and the spindles (9) are made of a rigid plastics material or of an interlocking type metal that can be readily replaced if the beacon is damaged.
