The lift truck is for moving articles a short distance and to lift them by small amounts. It has a fixed part, on which is a fork (15). This part has two horizontal longitudinals (1), above which is a vertical frame with two parallel rails (3). In these are rollers carried by cheeks on a fork. A hydraulic jack (6) is fitted on the lower frame cross piece. This pushes the bottom of a vertical rod (10) supporting a pulley (11) which carries a cable (12) with one end fixed on the fixed frame and the other on the movable fork.
