PURPOSE:To obtain a pile having strong bearing force by a method in which a shoe block coupled with a tubular body penetrated underground is brought down by a pressing device having plural jacks to consolidate slime, and a coagulating material is placed on the shoe block. CONSTITUTION:A pressure liquid is orderly supplied from a liquid pressure source to each jack 34 through a hose 42, and each piece 16 is vertically pressed by operating orderly each jack 34. Whereupon, a steel wire 20 hanging each piece 16 is cut off, the piece goes down along the other piece and a strip 24, whereby slime 28 deposited below the tubular body 12 is consolidated. Then, the wire 36 is pulled up, the pressing device 20 is removed, and then cement concrete or mortar 64 is placed on the shoe block 18.
