PURPOSE:To easily and speedily reset a set of rolls to be used in response to a piece to be worked, by exchanging the rolls in a cassette-like state and by reasonably performing a custody and resetting of many rolls. CONSTITUTION:At the resetting of rolls according to the change of a piece to be worked, repressing plates for respective roll mechanisms B, B- are detached previously. Next, a travelling dolly G is operated, simultaneously roll units U at the side of a roll forming mill are moved via an arm (j) to the side of storaging racks E. At the same time, the roll units U stored in the racks E are moved one after another to the side of the roll forming mill to exchange ex-units U for new units U. After completing the resetting, these units U and stands B, B- are connected again respectively to perform a roll forming operation.
