A plate is rotatably mounted in a table top 1. The plate is intended to support an apparatus or the equivalent and has to be able to be set at different inclination positions in dependence on the setting of an actuating member 6, 7. The wheel or the equivalent is located at the upper surface of the table top and the end of the screw actuates the first end of the element by bearing against it. The further rotary bearing 10 includes a member 15 which is provided with an elongated groove 14 and which is attached to the plate.
